William Jones

William E. Jones a.k.a. "Wild Bill", 83, of Silvis, died June 18, 2009 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in National Cemetery Rock Island Arsenal with military rites conducted by Colona American Legion Post # 1233. Memorials may be made to the family.
Bill was born November 11, 1925 in New London, MO. He was a WWII Army Veteran serving from 1944-1946. He was a lift truck operator for Franks Foundry Corp, Moline for 22years retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Moline VFW #2153.
