William C. Patrick, 90, of Moline, IL, died Friday, January 29, 2016, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline, IL.
A family directed memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Bethany Baptist Church, 700 35th Avenue Place, Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to Life in Messiah, Lansing, IL; Youth Hope, Moline, IL; Bethany Baptist Church, Moline, IL; Freedom Ministries, Moline, IL; Christian Friendliness Association, Mississippi Valley Youth for Christ, or CPC Pregnancy Resources. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
William was born on October 5, 1925, in Wheaton, IL, the son of Harry and Alice Crisler Patrick. He attended Northern Illinois University, graduating in 1950. He then moved to Moline and married Genevieve Reddick in June of 1952, in Chicago, IL, and she preceded him in death on May 2, 2005. William was in the TV repair business until his retirement.
He was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church. He served as a Deacon, financial secretary, usher, and was a youth sponsor. He also helped his wife in Sunday school and D.V.B.S.
Survivors include his sister Genie (Don) Nash, New Jersey; 4 nieces and nephews; and unofficially adopted daughter, Pam Clark, Moline, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
