Wilson D. Mader
July 11, 1924 — February 13, 2006
Wilson " Bud " Mader, age 81 of Rock Island, passed away Monday, February 13, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center-West Campus, Rock Island after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory,Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island with military rites conducted by American Legion Post #246.
Bud was born July 11, 1924 in Buffalo Prairie, IL. the son of Milton and Elsie Kimball Mader. He married Arlene Mueller on June 19, 1948 in Bellevue, IA. She preceded him in death on November 21, 2004.
Bud sorted mail on the train and later was transfered to the Rock Island Post Office where he worked until retiring in 1980. Bud then was employed on the Centennial Bridge . He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister-in-law Eugene (Bernita) Mader.
