Carol Ann Lambert, 65, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away, Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Evelyn’s House, Creve Coeur, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Augustana Lutheran Church Andover, IL. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the church. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Columbus City Cemetery in Columbus City, IA. Carol had requested in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Andover Lutheran Church or Evelyn’s House (1000 N Mason Rd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141).

Carol was born on January 9, 1956, in Moline, the daughter of John R. and Helen M. (Gustafson) Hultgren. She married Rod Lambert on June 25, 1994, in Andover, IL at the Augustana Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Augustana Lutheran Church. Carol worked in bookkeeping and item processing at local banks in her earlier years. She was employed in various places in San Diego, California, and the St. Louis area. Lastly being employed for Dierbergs in the St. Louis area. Where she worked as an accounts payable specialist retiring in November 2020. Carol received numerous awards for outstanding performance from various employers. It was shown through her nominations by her peers and management that she was a dedicated employee who always went above and beyond. She was known for her very kind and caring personality.
Survivors include her husband; sisters, Jeanine (Gerald) Lees, Beth (Don) Easterla; brother, Daniel (Sue) Hultgren; nieces, Nicole Bruckman, Samantha Heath; nephews, Jeremy Lees, Mason Hultgren, Jon Easterla, Rob Thomas, Matt Thomas; aunt, Alice (Chester) Esters; several great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, James Allison.
