Charles “Chuck” E. Chandler, 76, of Moline, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021.
Public visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Funeral services for the family will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens and military honors will be conducted. In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.
Chuck was born on January 30, 1945, in Rock Island, the son of Lewis Eugene and Doris (Skinner) Chandler. He was a U.S. Veteran serving in the Army. He married Nancy Westpfahl on July 28, 1998 in Rock Island. Chuck worked as a truck driver for Davenport Packaging then later Highland Pack. He enjoyed playing euchre as well as rebuilding antique cars and trucks.
Survivors include his wife, children, Tammy York, Terri (Paul) Melchi, Christopher (Lisa) Westpfahl; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Roger (Judy) Chandler, Jeff (Mary) Chandler, Linda (Jesse) Tompkins, & Nellie (Butch) Penney.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Edith Palmer, Richard Chandler, Ronald Chandler, Harold Chandler, Sam Chandler, and Gary Chandler.
