Kim Pauley, 67, of East Moline, passed away, Thursday, August 26, 2021, at his residence surrounded by family and friends.

Cremation rites will be accorded.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Memorials may be made to his family for a fund to be established.

Kim was born on January 5, 1954, in Rock Island, the son of Robert and Jeri (Proksch) Pauley.  He married Jean Hamlin on May 25, 1973.  They were blessed with 3 beautiful children, Ryan, Eric, and Jennifer.  She preceded him in August of 2014.  He later married Crystal (Buford) Delles on May 6, 2016, welcoming her children Brittney and Brandon into the family.  He first worked as an assembler at John Deere Harvester Works for 30 years.  During that time, he also worked as a Milan Auxiliary Police Officer.  Kim went on to work for Senior Star as the Environmental Service Director.  He enjoyed photography, riding his Harley and traveling.  Kim was a member at the Milan shooting range.

Survivors include his wife, Crystal Pauley; children, Ryan Pauley, Jennifer (Paul Meinert) Pauley, Brittney (Justin) Ashby, and Brandon (Jennifer Vandel) Delles; grandchildren, Maddie, Marcus, Jorden, Abel, Kaleb, Tyson, Aiden, Ryder, Marley; siblings, Bobbie (Harry) Stelling, Jim (Judy) Pauley, Mark (Jill) Pauley, Dani (Rick) Carter, Nick (Amanda) Pauley, and Rex (Carrie) Pauley; stepmother, Sherrie Pauley; nieces & nephews; mother and father-in-law, Paula and James Buford; brother-in-law, Doug Hawotte; and sister-in-laws, Melissa Vaughn, and Cindy Pauley; his 2 beautiful mini Aussies, Reaper and Juniper; and grandpup, Eiger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Eric Pauley; and brothers, Kenneth and Lynn Pauley.

In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask.
