Linda L. Breiby

Linda L. Breiby, 71, of Sherrard, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island.

A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Orion.  Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at the Sherrard Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for improvement projects at the park in Sherrard.

Linda was born on April 11, 1952 in Moline the daughter of Clyde K. and Mavis N. Nichol Erickson.  She was employed with the John Deere Parts Distribution Center and retired in 2008 from John Deere Harvester as an assembler.  Linda loved her community in Sherrard; she enjoyed all of the community activities and was a volunteer with Sherrard Ambulance.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and had fun with her large circle of friends.  Linda enjoyed life and a number of things including; boating, water skiing, traveling to Florida to put her feet in the sand and have a Budweiser.  Linda was a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan.  Above all, she cherished her family and was truly devoted to all of her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her siblings; Brian (Sue) Breiby Sherrard, Denise (Clay) Sewell Aurora, Eric (Lisa) Erickson Andalusia and Beth (Dan) Parker Andalusia; sister-in-law, Linda R. Breiby Sherrard; 8 nephews and 7 nieces and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bruce and niece, Sara Elizabeth Breiby.
