Margaret Wilhouse

Margaret Wilhouse, 90, of Moline, passed away, Friday, May 07, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center Silvis, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Orion United Methodist Church.  Visitation will be 1-hour prior at the church.  Burial will be at Western Cemetery.  The service will be livestreamed and may be viewed on Margaret’s obituary at esterdahl.com.  Memorials may be made to Orion United Methodist Church.  In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.

Margaret was born on June 13, 1930, in Rural Orion, the daughter of Joe and Norma (Hiatt) Gould.  She married Howard Wilhouse on May 27, 1949, in Orion.  He preceded her in death on March 26, 2011.  Margaret’s greatest joy was spending time with family.  She also enjoyed needle work, making quilts for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, reading, baking, and her flowers.

Survivors include her children, Vicki Winsor, Patti Kelsall; grandchildren, Dana (John) Dudzik, Darren (Kia) Winsor, John Kelsall, Patrick (Chantelle) Kelsall, Sara (Adam) Link, Gage Williams; great grandchildren, Ava, Jack, Addison, Marek, Soren, Olivia, Nahla, Jemma, Owen, and Emerson; sister, Joni (Harvey) Johnson; and many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Richard and David Gould; son-in-law, Jim Winsor; great granddaughter, Charlie Rose.
