Mildred Huntington

Mildred Huntington, 87, of Moline, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 19, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Mildred was born on October 27, 1933, in Downing, Missouri, the daughter of Henry and Silva (Garrett) Miller. She married Leonard Huntington on June 30, 1951, in Memphis, Missouri.  She previously worked for the Moline School District, retiring on December 9, 1988.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband, as well as camping, fishing, and playing Bingo.  She also liked crafting and baking for her family.

Survivors include her husband; children, Kenneth (Sally) Huntington, Texas, Carolyn Kopiak, Texas, and Barbara (Bob) Johnson, Bettendorf; grandchildren, Kendra, Lisa, Tresa, Beverly, and Amy; ten great grandchildren; and six great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Carol Henry.
