Nancy R. Bell

Nancy R. Bell, 74, of Moline, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at her daughter’s home.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and a memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Edgewood Baptist Church, 2704 38th Street in Rock Island.  Memorials may be made to Edgewood Baptist Church, where Nancy was a member.

Nancy was born on August 12, 1948, in Moline, the daughter of Robert E. and Jane (Philleo) Bell. After graduating from high school, she earned her associate degree from Black Hawk College. She served in the U.S. military. Nancy was previously employed as a case worker for the Illinois Department of Human Services. She also worked in medical records at Genesis Medical Center. She was an amazing and loving mom, grandma and sister.

Survivors include her daughter, Rachel (Jacob) Brooks, Milan; granddaughters, Melody and Zoey; sister, Pamela (Bob) Almquist, Valencia, CA; nieces and nephews, Megan (Craig) Jones, Jane Rose Bell, Edie (Michael) Henninger, Brett (Shelly) Almquist, Tal (Rula) Almquist, Joel (Rebecca) Almquist.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert C. Bell.
