Ritchie Lee Lieving

Ritchie Lee Lieving, 60, of Orion, passed away Sunday April 23, 2023, at his home.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at The O Kitchen & Tap, Orion. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.

Ritchie was born on December 7, 1962, in Moline, the son of Wayne and Joyce (Lee) Lieving. He married Lucinda “Cindy” Johnson on November 27, 2002, in Spearfish, South Dakota. She preceded him in death on September 10, 2020. He was previously employed as an electrician and was a member of the Union IBEW #145. He enjoyed golf and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. Ritchie was a simple man with great values.

Survivors include his father, Wayne (Peggy) Lieving, East Moline; children, Jeremy Lieving, Coal Valley, Nicholas Lieving, Moline, Kobe Lieving, Houston, Texas, Kane Lieving, Orion; step-children, Kevin (Emmy) Martens, Spearfish South Dakota, Kyle Martens (fiancé Malina), Houston, Texas, Kayman Martens (fiancé Sarah), Sioux Falls, South Dakota; grandchildren, Leah and Lucia Martens; brothers, Doug Lieving, Milan, Tony (Joanne) Lieving, Colona, Kerry (Denise) Lieving, New Windsor; step-brother, Craig (Karen) Winger, Williamsville, IL; step-sister, Angie (Jeff) Anderson, Orion

He was preceded in death by his wife; mother; and step-father, Ronnie Woodley.
