Robert C. Fredell

Robert Fredell, 81, of Orion, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, at St Frances Medical Center, Peoria.

A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1001 9th Street, Orion.  Visitation will be from 5-7 on Monday at Esterdahl, Orion.  Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to the church.

Bob was born on April 4, 1941, in Moline, the son of Twyller and Lorraine Parker Fredell.  He married Patricia A. Huber Young on July 12, 1986 in Orion.

Bob was employed as a butcher for over 30 years retiring in 2001 from Highland Pack.  He was a member of St. Paul in Orion and enjoyed fast cars, gardening and cooking.  Bob also enjoyed working out at the Larson Center in Silvis.  He was a truly giving person and most important to him was his family.

Bob is survived by his daughter Korena “Kerri” (Theodore) Gosnell: daughter, Deborah Huber; daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Meana; son, Jay (Carolyn) Huber; grandchildren, Shana, Jason, Tara, Brad, Melinda, Justin, Jason and Shannon;  great grandchildren, Brody, Alivia, Jaxon Allen, Zaiden Oliver, James, Elias Zayne, Emmett Lyle, Ayla Lynette, Talon Grey, Riley (Huber), Yiyatte, Alex, Jalib, Jack and Joseph; sisters, Kathleen (Jerry) Kurrle and Joyce (John) Pittman.

He was preceded by his wife, parents and brothers, Dennis and James.
