Shirley C Fredell

Shirley C. Fredell, 79, of Sherrard, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.

Cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services at this time. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd, Orion is assisting the family.

Shirley was born March 6, 1943, in Rock Island, the daughter of Carl F. and Mable (Leinhart) Miller. She married to Ronald L. Fredell on September 2, 1961, in Matherville, IL. When they were younger, Ron and Shirley were avid golfers.

Survivors include her husband, Ron; son-in-law, Doog McDowell, Woodhull, IL; grandchildren, Sara (Andrew Teel) McDowell, New Windsor, IL, Cory McDowell, Woodhull, IL; and brothers, Raylee (Judy) Miller, Sherrad, Stanley (Marla) Miller, Matherville, and Steve (Vicky) Miller, Preemption, IL.

She is preceded by her parents; children, Michael Fredell and Lisa McDowell; and siblings, Beverly Barajas and Carl Miller.
